Purple Water Marble Nails

I have practiced water marble nails a few times, and they are quite hard. This was probably the third or fourth time I did them, and they turned out much better!

What you do for this style of nails is take a small glass of cold water, 3-4 colors of nail polish, some sort of tooth pick, and tape. You first start by taping off your finger with clear scotch tape so only the nail is open. You then quickly start dripping a drip of nail polish into the cup, and follow it with the other colors of your choice in a bulls eye fashion. After you put as much nail polish in the cup you then dip your nail into the water slowly and use a toothpick to wipe away the extra nail polish in the cup.

After you take the tape off your fingers there may be some nail polish that got in the tape and on your skin. If that happens simply wipe it off with a bit of nail polish remover on a cotton ball.

The final result should look like this! :)

Yellow French Tip Daisy Nails

For these nails I started off with a simple yellow french tip...

I then used my dotting tools to add the white daisy flowers!

I think this is a perfect spring nail design and can be done with any bright spring colors! :) What do you think?!

Princess Nails

I call these nails princess nails because the pink and silver glitter together remind me of a princess! All I did was use a simple light pink color and put this lovely glitter art polish on my ring finger of each hand to really make it pop! :)

I really love the fun flirtyness to these nails, and they are so simple and easy to do!

You can do it with any solid color and glitter!

Colorful Background Nails

Today my little sister wanted me to try this cool colorful look that one of my friends found! You can do this background colorful look in many different ways, but she wanted it on two fingers per hand, and with zebra print on top.

What I did was put blobs of about 4-5 different colors randomly over white nailpolish, and topped it with black zebra stripes! I really liked the way it turned out!

If you wanted to try something different you could add black leopard over it, or even do some nails with leopard, and some with zebra!

Flower Acrylic Nails

My sister Laura wanted me to do acrylic nails for her. This is only the third time I have done acrylics and they turn out better each time! I really like how her's turned out!
She said she wanted some kind of design on them, so she chose this half flower and I put a gem on it for the center.

This is another picture with the color pink I used for the flowers!

Valentine's Day Nails

In honor of Valentine's Day I painted my nails for the fun holiday!

I used my dotting tools to make the polka dots on the tips of my nails, and I hand painted the hearts using the nail polish brush and the dotting tools.
Hope you like! :)

Palm Tree Nails

A few days ago I repainted on my acrylics this purple color. I then wanted to add a design, so I went on my pinterest nails board to see what would go good with the purple, and I found these palm trees!

I know it's not summer yet, but I was loving it so I had to try it!
I think the palm trees turned out way better than I thought they would and everyone seemed to love them! They actually weren't as hard as I thought they would be!

I will definitely be doing these again when summer time comes around! :)

Skittle Nails

My Mom bought me a ton of new colorful spring time nail polishes the other day, so when I came home from school this weekend I had to come up with something colorful to paint on my sisters nails!
I saw the idea to do M&M's, but my sister wanted skittle nails instead, so that's what I did! :)

I think they turned out so cute, and I just love all the bright colors!

Thanks for the nail polish Mom! <3

Hearts, Hearts, Hearts

I love hearts! I saw this super cute nail idea also on Pinterest! I love the colors grey and pink together and the white stripes just add a little bit more fun to the nails! For some reason this is one of my favorites that I have done, and I think it is the color combo!

After doing those I decided to try another heart stripe combination!

I hope you love it as much as I do! :)

Hello Kitty Nails

So my boyfriends sister is in LOVE with Hello Kitty! She has been wanting me to paint her nails, so I found a way to do Hello Kitty nails on Pinterest! I tested it out on her and she LOVED it! :)

The yellow nose is a bit hard to see in this picture, but its there!
Overall I think these turned out really cute and can be done in red or any shade of pink!

Acrilycs

Yesterday was my first attempt at doing acrylic nails. I decided to try them because my Mom was asked by a friend if I do acrylics. I said I've never done them, but I'm sure I could figure it out. So I went to rite aid and found a Kiss Salon Style Acrylics package for $18 and decided to try it! I have gotten my nails done in a salon a few times before, so just by watching them I kind of figured out how to do it. I called my cousin up to see if she wanted me to try it on her and she did! I ended up doing white tips on her, and clear natural ones on mine so I can paint over them! :)
Here is a picture of the french tip ones that I did! (I think they turned out pretty good for my first time ever doing them!)

The only thing that could have been better was more practice on how much powder to use for each nail so that it come out nice and smooth. Other than a few uneven ridges I think it turned out REALLY good! :)
Here's mine... (Haven't painted over them yet)

Since I did mine after Eileen's mine turned out a little smoother I think. I just need to paint them and they are all set to go! :)

This is what my acrylics looked like after I painted them! :)
Hope you like!

Zebra Nails

I saw on pinterest this awesome design for my nails so I HAD to try it! :)

I started by doing my nails half white, I then added half bright hot pink to the other side. I added the black stripes to each nail, and topped it off with a silver glitter streak down the middle!

You could do this with any color to take the place of the pink. I was also thinking it would look really cool if I did it only on my ring fingers, and had the rest of my nails pink! Just some thoughts...

My little sister also made me a zebra print hair bow, so when I had my nails done like this I decided to add a little bit of my own pink duck tape on the bow to match my nails! Here's a picture...

Leopard Print

The other day I saw online an idea to do leopard print nails so I decided to try it! It was very time consuming and I had to be very patient, that's why I only did it on my two fingers. Although it was more difficult, it was definitely worth it because they turned out so cute! Everyone loved them!

This is a closer shot of the leopard print against my leopard print heat pack that my Aunt made for me! :)

After doing mine, my cousin saw them and wanted hers done too! She loves pink like me, so I did hers in pink. She loved them!

Piglet Nails

After doing the Eeyore nails I said I was going to try Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger. Well... here's Piglet!! My little sister let me do them on her nails after her cookie monster nails came off! I think it turned out so cute! I am so excited to try the other ones too! :)

Another angle of the nails!

Little Girls Nail Party

My Boyfriend's Mom just gave me the idea that I should do little girl parties for painting nails! I love the idea and think it would be so fun... the only problem is, what would the kids do in the meantime while I'm painting the nails one at a time? Would that be for me to decide? Or the mom in charge? She said I should do a party price, and then charge like $7 extra per person. I love the idea, but I think I would need some help! What are everyone's thoughts??

Eeyore Nails

My sister babysits for two little girls, and she wanted me to come over tonight while she was babysitting to do their nails! The one little girl LOVES Eeyore and asked if I could do that, so I googled it and came up with this great idea!

After looking at it now, I realized I probably should have tried to add the ears on the sides of the finger nail, but I think it turned out so cute! The tail is on the pinkie finger too! :)
Next time I am going to attempt Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger!
If only little kids were more patient with letting their nails dry! These were messed up within 20 minutes of painting them. Haha

Minnie Mouse Nails

I have never been to disney world, but I have always wanted to go! These nails get me in the disney spirit!

I could have done the tips on all of my fingers, I just didn't have enough time and patience to do so that day. I really like how they turned out, and I hope you do too! :)

My flyer

Okay, so I am thinking about starting a small nail painting bussiness at my school for people in my dorm and whoever else. I made a flyer and I plan on hanging it in the dorm hallways. I need your opinions on if you think this is a good idea/could work!? I love painting nails and I would love to do it for others for a small price. In the real flyer I have about 6 pictures posted of what I've done so far, and also number tabs that people can tear off to contact me. What do you think???

Cookie Monster Nails

I know some of you out there have to LOVE cookie monster! Well yesterday I saw on pinterest a way to paint cookie monster nails. I changed it up a bit and tried it on my sister who REALLY wanted me to do it to her! It would be so fun for a little girl or any cookie monster lovers! :)

How cute is that?! I didn't have brown nail polish so I used acrylic paint by adding a couple drops of water to it, I then put a clear top coat over it once it dried to make it look glossy like it was really nail polish! Worked perfect! :)

Bumble Bee Nails

I am lucky because I have a ten year old sister who LOVES getting her nails done by me, so I get a LOT of practice time when I'm home from school! This is my sister Lisa showing off her bumble bee nails! All designs done by hand. What do you think?

After I did my sisters nails with bumble bees I was tempted to try it on mine, so here is the bumble bee on my nail! :)

Who am I?
